It is Hard to Be A Human Being

I just know that this is true.  The world around us seems too often to militate against our happiness.  Why is this so?  I am not a guru of any sort but I have these questions about how living on the earth school actually works.  We know we can't get out of the journey, sometimes bad things happen to us that impede our experiencing the beauty within us the beauty without.  Sometimes we even get in our own damn way, because we have been seduced into believing that what is will always be, or that we are not worthy of being the flaming candle of life that we intrinsically are... was that a dangling participle?  Well you know what I mean here.  I hope that this becomes a place where my musings engage yours...
